and explain why you think this technology will be beneficial for future generations.
Why/Closing: Reduces carbon emissions and provides infinite clean energy for future generations.
Sample answer
about 242 words · 2 minutesI would like to talk about solar photovoltaic technology, which is one of the most effective green innovations available today. Simply put, it is a method of harnessing energy directly from the sun to produce electricity without burning fossil fuels. The way it functions is actually quite fascinating. Solar panels are made up of semiconductor materials, usually silicon. When sunlight hits these panels, the light particles, or photons, excite the electrons within the cells. This movement generates a flow of direct current electricity, which is then converted into alternating current by an inverter so it can power everyday household appliances or be fed into the national grid. This technology is applied in a wide variety of settings. You can see solar panels installed on the roofs of residential homes and commercial buildings, allowing people to generate their own clean power locally. Additionally, vast solar farms have been built in rural areas and deserts, generating large amounts of renewable energy for entire towns and cities. I truly believe this technology will be immensely beneficial for future generations. By shifting away from coal and gas towards solar power, we can drastically reduce carbon dioxide emissions and slow down climate change. Furthermore, solar energy is an infinite resource, meaning future generations will not have to worry about depleting the planet's limited reserves. Ultimately, investing in solar technology ensures a cleaner, healthier planet and a far more sustainable economic future for those who come after us.

'Agree' is a verb, so it does not need the auxiliary verb 'am'.
Tips for a higher band
- Use transition phrases like 'simply put' or 'additionally' to connect ideas smoothly without long pauses.
- Incorporate topic-specific vocabulary naturally, such as 'photovoltaic cells', 'renewable energy', and 'carbon emissions'.
- Use a mix of active and passive voice to demonstrate grammatical range.
Part 3 follow-up questions
After Part 2 the examiner may ask deeper questions on the same theme.
